Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Friday) First Day Collection At Box Office

Salman Khan’s most anticipated movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan got released yesterday (PRE -EID). The film has broken the First Day Numbers of Kick but failed to break the records of Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3. That’s not all. It has also failed to smash the record set by Sallu with his film Ek Tha Tiger.
The film was released on huge 4480 screens in India, which is the highest number for a Hindi Film till date. Entire day occupancy for the movie was 70% which is excellent keeping pre EID in mind. In North India the film has taken even better start and is set for a crazy first day number. Several shows are running to packed houses there and craze is unprecedented.

Distributor Sunny Khanna had predicted that Bajrangi Bhaijaan would collect more than Rs 30 crores nett at the Indian Box Office on the first day and the opening day records of Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 32.93 crores nett) and Dhoom 3 (Rs 36.2 crores nett). However, Distributor Sunny Khanna feels  “Despite pre-Eid period + working day,  Bajrangi Bhaijaan has collected to PHENOMENAL numbers. Fri Rs 27.10 crores+ nett. India biz.
According to Mr. Khanna, yes this movie has little under performed due to Non Holiday & Pre-EID but it has broken the record his previous film “KICK” which had collected Rs. 26.30 crores & Amir Khan’s PK which had collected Rs. 27 crores on its opening day.
